Venice International Photo Contest 2007
My photograph “The Politician” has been awarded with 1st place at the Venice International Photo Contest 2007, in the category “Street Photography, B&W”. “The Cue”, “Waiting Room”, “Yellowgreen” and “Arcobaleno (Rainbow)” took honorable mentions. Sui siti e Forum Fotografici (soprattutto italiani)
L’esplosione della fotografia, dovuta anche al digitale, ha fatto sì che tantissimi si siano (ri)avvicinati a questo mondo affascinante. E, con esso, sono nati una serie di siti che consentono un po’ di tutto…. Tralasciando quelli che si occupano principalmente di photo sharing mi vorrei soffermare sui siti per i fotografi “amatori”, ossia per tutti quelli che vogliono mostrare il proprio lavoro ad altri “amatori” e/o discutere di tecnica e Fotografia.
Queste mie categorie non pretendono di essere esaustive o complete ma solo di tracciare, simpaticamente, delle distinzioni su cosa aspettarsi quando si entra a far parte di queste Community Virtuali.

Artelaguna 2007
The Italian Cultural Association MoCA (Modern Contemporary Art), in cooperation with Arte Laguna, organized the First International Prize of Photographic Art “Arte Laguna”. The Prize is organized under the sponsorship of the Venetian Academy of Fine Arts, the Region of Veneto, the Province of Treviso, the Municipal District of Mogliano Veneto and the Ascom. It is directed to the promotion of the contemporary figurative art.
I participated to the Contest and have been selected for exhibit in one of the itinerant exhibitions planned for this event.
