International Photography Awards Announces winners of the 2008 Competition.
Massimo Cristaldi was awarded Honorable mention in the 2008 International Photography Awards Competition.

Los Angeles, California., 9/23/2008 — International Photography Awards (IPA) announced the winners of this year’s IPA Photographer of the Year awards.

Massimo Cristaldi of Italy was Awarded:

Honorable mention in Editorial in non-professional category for his entry, “Global Warming” .
Honorable mention in People in non-professional category for his entry, “A Men’s World” .
Honorable mention in Special in non-professional category for his entry, “The Altar” .
About Massimo Cristaldi
Massimo Cristaldi began his career in 1989 as an IT specialist in Catania. In early 2002, drove by a passion born when he was twelve, he started to explore seriously his interest for photography. As a photographer, Cristaldi is an entirely self-taught artist, having learned his craft through personal research, and practical experience behind the camera. Over the last year he strived to express himself through photography, creating exhibitions, participating to contests and working for private customers. His photographs have been published on Italian newspapers as “La Repubblica” and “La Sicilia” and on many online photography magazine, such as File Magazine and Witness Journal.

Ho ricevuto 3 mensioni d’onore all’International Photography Awards 2008. L’International Photography Award è considerato uno dei più prestigiosi concorsi fotografici al mondo, e comprende 54 diverse categorie a cui possono partecipare professionisti e non professionisti. Nell’edizione appena conclusasi il concorso ha ricevuto oltre 22.000 partecipazioni da 124 paesi nel mondo. Durante la cerimonia di premiazione, che avverrà il 20 Ottobre a New York, verranno affidati vari riconoscimenti a prestigiosi fotografi, quali il nostro Gianni Berengo Gardin, ma anche Patrick Demarchelier e Erwin Olaf.
