Simulacra has been published in the NYTimes “Lens Blog”. JAMES ESTRIN Writes: “Simulacra of simulacra,” is how Massimo Cristaldi describes his photographs of small roadside votive altars in Sicily — “overwhelmed by galloping globalization and by general indifference.” The nighttime photographs are mysterious and haunting.
